This journey, while starting humbly with the construction of a "Sunday Shed," holds profound significance and promise.

Crusade to Commitment

The decision to establish a new church in Fiji stems from a transformative 5-day crusade. This spiritual gathering saw faith, hope, and unity converge, culminating in the unwavering commitment of 10 families, eager to embark on this faith journey.

The Sunday Shed: More Than a Temporary Refuge

While the vision encompasses a permanent church, the immediate need birthed the "Sunday Shed." Facilitated by the provision of corrugated metal roofs, this space offers a sanctuary for the community to nurture their faith. It stands as a symbol of the community's resilience, determination, and the foundational steps towards a lasting place of worship.

A Bright Horizon: Crafting a Faithful Legacy

With congregations already assembling under the Sunday Shed, there's a palpable anticipation for a permanent structure. This initiative, deeply rooted in community spirit, is set to be a beacon of faith in Fiji. The journey is only beginning, but the horizon gleams with promise.

With our support, a sprawling 160-acre sugar cane farm has been initiated, complete with the necessary seeds and supplies. Beyond just agriculture, this farm holds the potential to financially bolster extensive outreach and discipleship programs across the South Pacific, creating a sustainable model for growth and evangelism.

Equipping for Evangelism and Aid: Our commitment to Fiji's spiritual and physical well-being extends beyond farming. We've facilitated the purchase of vital equipment for an evangelistic team, empowering them to venture into previously unreached areas. Moreover, in the wake of the devastating cyclone that struck the island, our efforts pivoted to provide immediate aid to church families who tragically lost their homes, showcasing our holistic approach to support.

A Vision for a Thriving Fiji: By investing in both agricultural initiatives and direct aid, we aim to create a resilient and self-sustaining community in Fiji. Whether it's through the hum of the new bulldozer on the farm or the rebuilding of a cyclone-stricken home, our mission remains clear: to uplift, empower, and bring hope to the beautiful people of Fiji.

Harvesting Hope: Sugarcane Plantation Fuels Church Growth in Fiji

Investing in Growth: In a strategic move to support our mission, we've taken a step into agriculture. Five acres of Vili's land now boasts a flourishing sugarcane plantation. With an investment of around $5,000 AUD for land preparation, planting, and fertilization, we anticipate a bountiful harvest around August/September next year.

Projected Returns for a Noble Cause: The expected yield from this plantation is an impressive 300 tons of sugarcane. This translates to a net profit projection of $20,000. But this isn't just about profit; it's about purpose. The funds will be channeled towards constructing a home for Kelevi and his family on the North Island.

Supporting Kelevi's Vision: Kelevi, an apostolic leader overseeing a group of five pastors in Fiji, has relocated his family to the North. His aim? To spearhead a church-planting and discipleship movement. By supporting Kelevi directly, we're not just building a home; we're nurturing a vision and ensuring that the message of faith reaches even more hearts in Fiji.

Plans are underway to commence weekly Bible Studies and Leadership Training sessions with the five dedicated individuals in Fiji. This initiative promises to shape future leaders, equipping them with knowledge, faith, and the skills to guide others.
